Pseudorchard, Ring and Slant (2007)
These three temporary sculptural interventions came about as part of a one day arts event in Brentwood, Essex. A lack of time and budgetary constraints meant that the most effective and elegant solution to this project was to work with the furniture that was on site and the site itself. As is often the case for me, such limitations push me to work much harder with what's 'to hand'. It was very a satisfying experience to arrive and leave with almost nothing, and yet still create three large-scale works in a day. |
